Almost Everything You Need : Gates TCK254 Timing Belt Component Kit

This set is great. Bought individually, these pieces add up quickly. I would recommend also checking your cam seals and the front crank seal while you are at it. The crank seal is easy to get to. The cam seals require you to remove the cam gears, though. I installed these on a '97 Legacy 2.2L. My engine had about 180K miles and the belt was supposed to be replaced at every 60K, but apparently wasn't (I bought it used). FYI, California emissions models are at 105K intervals. It had jumped one tooth on one cam. The car still started fine, and ran. I drove it like this for about a year. (Time gets away from me. Luckily, this is a non-interference engine.) It had one idler that was bad and another that was marginal. Those alone would have cost $150 locally. Now it is much quieter and has more power and a much smoother power-band. With all new components, I know I won't have to worry about it again for a while.
